Dated, Closed Account Outweighs Active Account
I cannot believe this is happening again. I know it was posted before but it has happened yet again. So I changed my name and this one has been a struggle, but I got it done. After I got the new card, I noticed that all the emails and the mobile site still had my old name. I thought maybe this is a glitch.
Wrong
It seems that since I had some account with them years and years ago, that the closed, outdated, (I could go on) account with my old name outweighs my current, active account. I have no idea what account this is, as I may have been on my dad’s bank account all those years ago or it could be when I had a credit card with this financial institution years ago before it closed and I got a new one a couple years ago. To fix this, I have to visit a branch and provide the same documents that I provided the card member services team.
It amazes me how a company can have so many different divisions and yet they do not function with each other, like they are all different companies. I should not have to contact each indiviual part of the company to change my name. What is the point of being with them if I have to do it with each one?
Why?
If you can answer why, then Growbucks may want to hire you, cause you are smarter than I am. This is outlandish. If I was in California, the right to be forgotten would apply and I would not have this issue. This needs to be a law everywhere, not just California. I do not understand it and I am not sure I want to fight it. I’ve had enough issues changing my name with them the first time, I shouldn’t have to do it again, nor do I want to. If they want to be pigheaded, I can be too, only I will do it better!
