You had a busy day at work, and you got home exhausted. You did not get to bed at a decent hour the night before. It’s time to cook dinner and you tell yourself I’m too exhausted to cook, let’s just get takeout. With a family of 4 that will cost you at least 50 bucks each time.
The lack of sleep does not help when making good financial decisions, especially everyday life ones that are just small purchases but add up over time causing you to have financial nightmares. You tell yourself it just this one time, but it is happening constantly, and you lie to yourself you’ll do better.
Getting fast food, a lot is my biggest pitfall. It is too easy to do but so bad for our health and financial well-being.
