What stops us from learning about money? The most common phrases I hear are “I can’t,” “I don’t understand” and “I don’t want to.” Learning about money is a never-ending thing. It a constant learning. As money changes so does our thought process changes too. What works today may not work tomorrow. New laws get passed yearly and we have to learn. Stop being your biggest obstacle in learning about money. If you truly believe you can’t and math is not your friend you can at least learn the basics, like the difference between APY and APR and other fun stuff like that. Everyone can learn the basics; it may take some people a little longer, but we are learning at a different pace, and all have different learning styles.

We save money, avoid getting ripped off, realize our money goals, and learn to achieve them (vacation, new items, etc.).
